1. Who this covers

These terms bind: (a) individual families and homeschoolers on the $75 yearly campus plan; (b) teachers and schools on classroom licenses; (c) districts on quoted per-student seats; (d) anyone who opens a public project link.

2. Eligibility

• You must use a real email you control. School emails are preferred for rostered students.
• Users under 13 may only have an account with a parent, guardian, or school official who accepts these terms.
• Faculty and district admins warrant they have authority to roster students and to accept this agreement for the school.

3. What Abacadome is

Abacadome is a STEM campus: lessons, quizzes, live labs (including Electrical, Robotics, Science, Technology, AI, and Code), tests, classes, and a student IDE. Labs include simulated benches (drag-and-drop circuits, robot commands, heat experiments, prompt and code pads). Simulations are teaching tools, not substitutes for supervised physical labs, electrical safety gear, or industrial robot cells.

4. Accounts and seats

Public self-serve price is $75 per year per campus login. District pricing is quoted. Typical district seats are $3 per student per month. Rosters of 10,000 or more students may be quoted as low as $2 per student per month. Quotes, invoices, and OSIBytes Accounts subscriptions control billing. Unpaid invoices may pause roster features after notice.

5. Children’s privacy

Abacadome is used in K–12. We do not sell student personal information. We do not use student data for targeted advertising. We do not build a commercial profile of a child for sale to third parties.

• Student records we store are limited to what the product needs: name or display name, email, grade, class enrollment, lab progress, and project files the student saves.
• Parents and schools may request access, correction, or deletion of a child’s account by writing to support@osibytes.com.
• We will not require a child to provide more personal data than needed to run the campus.
• Chat, comments, and IDE files may be reviewed by the student’s teacher or parent when the student is rostered to that adult.

6. School as the operator for rostered students

When a district or school buys seats, the school is the education customer. The school must have parental notice or consent required by its state and by federal children’s privacy rules (including COPPA where it applies, and FERPA-style access for education records the school treats as such). OSIBytes processes that roster data to provide the service to the school.

7. Security

Passwords must not be shared. Faculty must not post class auth codes on public websites. We use HTTPS and session cookies. No system is perfect; report incidents to support@osibytes.com.

8. Photos, video, and biometric-style data

Abacadome is not a social network and is not a place to post pictures of children.

• Do not upload photographs, video, or audio of minors unless the school has written parent/guardian consent that covers that file and that use.
• Do not upload government IDs, medical images, or classroom CCTV.
• We do not offer facial recognition, emotion detection, or biometric identification of students. Do not attempt to build those on the IDE using student images.
• Profile colors and avatars must not be photographs of real children.

9. Student work and IDE projects

Code, quizzes, and lab logs belong to the student or, where the school’s policy says so, to the school. OSIBytes has a limited license to host that work so the product can run.

• IDE projects are private by default. A project URL is not public until the student (or a teacher on a class assignment) presses Share / Make public.
• A public project link can be opened by anyone who has the URL. Students must not put home addresses, full names of other children, or photos in a public project.
• Teachers may unpublish a project that breaks school rules.
• Public projects may still be taken down if they include prohibited content.

10. Third-party tools

Some pages load fonts or a code editor from a CDN. Live AI benches on the campus are local demos unless a school enables a separate, contracted model. Do not paste student PII into public chatbots from a school device if the district forbids it.

11. Acceptable use

• No harassment, hate, pornography, or content that sexualizes minors.
• No malware, credential stuffing, or attacks on Abacadome or other students.
• No pretending to be a teacher or district admin.
• Physical electrical and robotics work must follow school shop-safety rules. The on-screen bench is a simulation.

12. Discipline and suspension

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Schools may remove a student from a class without deleting the student’s personal login. District non-payment may freeze new roster seats after notice.

13. Disclaimer

The campus is provided as an educational tool. OSIBytes is not liable for grades, exam outcomes, or injuries in a physical lab. Liability is limited to fees paid for the service in the prior twelve months, except where the law of your state does not allow that limit (including for willful misconduct).

14. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after the date is acceptance. District contracts that say otherwise control for that district.
